Does Vega U come with a base?

It has no mobile base, but it ships with a stand. It's a bimanual manipulator that also mounts to a tabletop, your own mobile base, or a custom rig.

Does it come with AI?

No. It ships as hardware with Python, C++, and Rust APIs and the SDK. The task behavior is yours to build or teach, and Vega U comes with the tools to collect demonstration data that is ready for physical AI model training.

Is it compatible with Vega?

Yes. Same upper-body kinematics, so datasets, skills, and tooling carry straight across.

How does it differ from Vega?

Vega adds the mobile base, the adjustable torso, and the full 7 ft 2 in (2.2 m) reach. Vega U is the upper body on its own.
